The Heart Behind Hermitage Christian Academy
A parent-led journey to create the Christ-centered education our community needed.
A Seed Planted in Faith
Faced with their son’s approaching kindergarten year, Jordan and Kelly Kepner couldn’t find the education they envisioned in Hermitage—one that combined rigorous academics with unwavering biblical truth. Rather than compromise, they felt God’s calling to create what didn’t yet exist. Inspired by friends who had founded Arche Classical Academy and driven by their love for the Hermitage community, the Kepners took a leap of faith. What began as a family’s educational need became God’s provision for an entire community of families seeking Christ-centered learning where truth, goodness, and beauty aren’t just taught—they’re lived.
Growing Strong Roots
Today, Hermitage Christian Academy stands as Hermitage’s only private Christian school, offering families something truly unique—an education where God is at the center of every subject and small class sizes ensure every child is known and valued. Our parent-led approach, supported by local churches and passionate educators, creates a warm community where academic excellence flows naturally from a biblical worldview. We’re not just teaching subjects in isolation; we’re helping students discover the beautiful interconnectedness of all knowledge with their Creator at the heart of it all.
The Future We’re Building
We envision growing alongside our students, with exceptional teachers who share our passion for nurturing young hearts and minds at every stage of their educational journey. Our dream extends beyond academics to building a vibrant community where parents, educators, and volunteers gather to pray, share meals, and encourage one another.
As Isaiah 61:3 promises, we’re planting “oaks of righteousness for the splendor of the Lord”—strong, God-loving families for generations to come.
